Having worked in the shadow of these buildings for a number of years, I was shocked when the South Tower fell … that later turned into a temporary state of denial when the North Tower followed her sibling hour later … as I heard myself uttering the words almost in the third person “… oh those poor people inside … they’re all gone.”
